USSB has a Facebook page! The Unitarian Society of Santa Barbara group enables our community to share news and information easily, and unlike the website, anyone can post to the Facebook group discussions.
If you already have a Facebook account, search for the Unitarian Society of Santa Barbara group using the search window on the upper right corner of the screen. Once you've found us, click "join this group," under the drawing of the front entrance, and you're in! You don't have to be a member of the Society to join this group.
If you don't have a Facebook account, it's easy and free. All you need in an email address.
Connection Circles are small, intimate gatherings of all genders in which deep connections between participants are nurtured. Sound like a good start? Ten members per circle will gather 2 to 4 times a month, guided by a trained facilitator through a 90 minute journey into their respective minds, hearts and souls. Lifelong relationships are possible, for those open and inclined.
This May, you will have an opportunity to sign up for a Connection Circle (formerly known as Small Group Ministry). Circles will be offered at a variety of times and days, so that we can accommodate lots of different schedules. We are actively recruiting facilitators at present -- you will receive complete training here at USSB, and will lead one circle. If you are interested, send an email to
