That Looks Promising!
Rev. Caitlin Cotter
There’s a lot happening in the world right now – and of course there always is.
Famine, war, disease, storms and fires and earthquakes, inequality and injustice.
And our own lives can be overwhelming as well – all the small and large things.
So what helps you to hold on, when things seem dismal?
I imagine every person in this room has a slightly different answer to that question – and your answer may change day by day.
There’s one place I go back to again and again when I am unhappy or annoyed… or I need to inject a sense of promise back into my life.
It’s a spiritual happy zone for me, a place that fills me up and leaves my heart and soul ready to go again.
When I am sad or mad, I like to go… to the hardware store.
