Addictions Ministry

Our mission is to compassionately raise awareness about the pervasive effect of addiction in our communities and provide support to those who are dealing with addiction, either their own or that of someone close to them. We are dedicated to lifting the silence surrounding addiction and providing a safe place for conversation, support, educational materials, and referrals. . Confidentiality and anonymity are strictly maintained.

Each month at the Unitarian Society of Santa Barbara, our sermons, Religious Education classes and discussion  groups focus on a theme.  On occasion, I will post an article which reflects on the monthly theme from my perspective as a seeker in recovery.   Click here to read REFLECTIONS OF AN AGNOSTIC IN AA.
