Women’s Empowerment Project

Mission Statement

The Women’s Empowerment Project of the Unitarian Society of Santa Barbara fosters awareness of issues affecting those who identify as women and supports them in taking action to promote the well-being of women in our diverse community and beyond.

Each year the Women’s Empowerment Fund offers a grant through an application process to a woman in our congregation with a proposal that benefits women and girls.

The Women’s Film Series and the Women’s Speaker Series generate conversation about the strength of women and how to best use it to promote our mission.
