Welcoming Our Community of Women: Deepening Our Connections and Courage!

Register now! June 8-10, Friday at 5:00 p.m. to Sunday at 11:00 a.m. Registration is open now and closes May 13, or when filled. The cost will be $100 for meals and resources.

This spring we offer our third annual retreat opportunity for 25 women to experience a retreat, based on Parker Palmer’s Circles of Trust practices, for their personal renewal and to begin to deepen a community of women in our congregation. In this women’s retreat experience we will share stories; the stories of our individual lives, the timeless big stories of culture and myth, and our relationship to community. These stories will provide the focus for discovery and reflection on what matters in our lives and how we can grow our experiences of connection and belonging while deepening our courage to live in challenging times.

To contain our costs, this is a “non-residential” retreat, held right here on our USSB campus, and participants will sleep at home. Visit our information table in the Garden on Sundays, or contact Susan Plummer or Nancy Edmundson retreat facilitators, for more information.
